DONCASTER butcher Antony Ward is starring alongside Ant and Dec in Morrisons’ new TV advert.

In a series that sees the Geordie duo lift the lid on what makes Morrisons different, Antony demonstrates his expertise to the pair.

He is said to be more than a match for the boys’ banter and can be seen guiding Ant and Dec through the real journey of the meat bought by customers from his counter.

Viewers will watch him introducing Ant and Dec to some traditional British breeds of cattle, before they help him behind his counter.

He said: “The quality of what we sell is second to none so I’m thrilled we’re getting to share that with the nation. I hope it will inspire shoppers to try different cuts of meat.”
