Around 500 scooter riders from across the country parked their bikes up in Rotherham on Saturday for a rally which attracted around 1,0000 spectators.

Customised scooters and vintage bikes were among those on display in the grounds of The Waverley pub, Catcliffe, at an annual event which organisers say is getting bigger and bigger each year as its reputation grows.

Money raised at the charity event, organised by Rotherham Scooter Club, is to be donated to Rotherham Hospice.

The rally has been held annually for eight years and has raised thousands for good causes.
