Residents can have their say on how a £1m grant will be spent on improving a Sheffield estate.
People can voice their opinions at the Westfield Big Local project’s Big Event on Saturday at Shortbrook School.
The area is one of 150 around England to have been handed cash to make a lasting, positive difference to the community and make the area an even better place to live.
A spokesman said: “It’s all about using all the existing local talent, ambitions, skills and energy – and providing support, training and resources to create new opportunities as well.”
The event runs from 2pm to 5pm, with martial arts displays from Te Sheng Do, an appearance by boxer Clinton Woods and games with DJ Nige.
Organisers say there will be free hot dogs, key rings and stickers for people who attend.
