French feast showcases students’ kitchen craft

Students from a South Yorkshire college served up tasty treats with that je ne sais quoi during a French-themed evening at their training restaurant.

Catering and hospitality students from Dearne Valley College donned stereotypically Gallic berets, onions and striped shirts for the occasion.

The menu marked the teenagers’ own upcoming trip to France and included beef bourguignon, grilled sea bass and creme brulee.
