Try this classy Malbec which is a pleasant change from its sometimes harsh South American cousin.
This one is silky smooth with a violet aroma and loaded with blackberry fruits. It’s ideal with red meats and lovely with a rich goulash and boiled new potatoes.
Produced in a small area close to St. Chinian, it strikes an excellent balance between the traditionally robust wines of Cahors and the more fruity new world Malbecs.
