Fonz to drop into Doncaster classroom

HAPPY Days star The Fonz, better known as actor/director Henry Winkler, will be delighting youngsters in Doncaster when he drops into their school next week.

The actor will be visiting Town Field Primary School to discuss his dyslexia with pupils and how it need not be a barrier to progress in life.

He is touring schools during March as part of the 2013 First News My Way! campaign and will be accompanied by Nicky Cox, editor of award-winning children’s newspaper First News, who will be emphasising the message of the campaign – the things that make us different make us special.

A school spokesman said: “We are all really excited and are looking forward to it.”

The star will visit on Tuesday and later will be signing books at WHSmith in the Frenchgate Centre from 4pm.
