A Sheffield artist has achieved a festive double.

Last year’s Lord Mayor Coun John Campbell chose a view of Barker’s Pool by artist and illustrator Brian Smith – and now current Mayor Coun Vickie Priestley has opted for a seasonal view of the Town Hall.

Coun Priestley said: “This festive scene of the Town Hall will be circulated around the country as well as our twin towns overseas spreading the joy of Christmas and the name of Sheffield far and wide.”

The designs have been chosen from 10 fine art cards celebrating the city, which is in its fourth year of publication.
