A MAN was taken to hospital with serious neck and back injuries after his vehicle crashed into a wall and a lamppost.
The 46-year-old, from Kiln-hurst, Rotherham, was driving a Citroen Relay van along Lime Grove, Swinton, when it struck a parked BMW 316.
The car then hit a garden wall and a lamppost.
Police said the driver was travelling towards Highthorn Road at the time of the smash.
He was freed by firefighters and taken to Rotherham District General Hospital.
