An expressive arts programme for disabled children will be held at Rotherham’s Civic Theatre next month.

The sessions are run by Caudwell Children, which provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families, and take place from August 18 to 21.

They are aimed at youngsters aged eight to 18, with a disability or life-limiting illness.

The sessions will follow an ‘out of this world’ theme and will include music, drama and set design. Children will create a presentation for parents and carers at the end of the week, and will also receive a credit towards the ASDAN expressive Arts Award.
