Internationally-acclaimed classical guitarist Miloš Karadaglić is to head the line-up at the 2014 Bradfield Festival of Music.
The celebrated Montenegrin musician will be joined by classical accordionist Ksenija Siderova for a concert at St Nicholas’ Church, High Bradfield, on June 21.
Miloš’ debut album topped the classical charts around the world in 2011, and earned him two prestigious awards. In 2012, he was named Classic BRIT MasterCard Breakthrough Artist of the Year for his second release.
He forms part of a strong line-up for the annual South Yorkshire festival which runs from June 21 to 28.
To celebrate the Tour de France coming to South Yorkshire, the festival will reach its climax on June 28 with Vive la France, a tour of French music and song.
Festival Secretary Keith Hoyland said: “We are thrilled we were able to book an artist of the stature of Milos Karadaglić to open the festival but he forms just one part of a truly impressive range of performers.”
