PUBS and bars around Barnsley are planning an indoor music festival in the town.
The Live In Barnsley event is taking place on Saturday, June 22, and will be similar to Sheffield’s Tramlines, organisers say.
Eleven pubs and a number of bands from across the region have expressed an interest in taking part.
A spokesman said: “We are confident we can get the 80-plus bands needed to fill the venues.
“Our website launches on Friday and any bands that are interested can fill in the online application form.
“We are looking for a wide variety of acts and also seeking sponsorship.”
