Author to give Barnsley talk on miners’ strike novel

Author David Peace is to give a talk in Barnsley about his novel on the miners’ strike.

His book, GB84, has been reissued to tie in with the 30th anniversary of the miners’ strike and the talk is part of a year-long programme of events to mark the milestone.

Mr Peace will be talking about the book at Experience Barnsley, Lancaster Gate, on Saturday, August 9, between 11am and 12.30pm.
