Sheffield’s Sheltered Housing Choir is looking for new members after being honoured for its work in the community.
The singers received recognition in Sheffield Council’s Paul Key Awards - named in memory of a housing officer and which ‘celebrate the achievements of tenants and residents, community groups and council staff’.
The choir has been formed for a year and is open to anybody over the age of 55.
Members practise every other Thursday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Sheffield Cathedral.
Sheltered Housing Manager Rhian Owen said: “The choir is a big part of the community.”
