SKIPPING sessions led by former boxing champ Herol Graham kicked off a week of sporting events at a Sheffield primary school.
Herol led the way in a sponsored skip held by pupils at Stradbroke Primary to mark National School Sports Week.

"Herol certainly got the ball rolling – he's brilliant at skipping and really inspired the children with his talent," said the school's PE co-ordinator Gillian Brailey.

"He also encouraged the boys in particular – at the end of the week quite a few boys who couldn't skip before had got the hang of it."

The week also featured a visit by the Woodhouse Dragons martial arts club, a rounders competition, multi-skills sessions and a keep fit day in which the pupils took part in aerobics.
