Text STAR2W2MI and leave a space, followed by your full name, postcode, house number, then VOTE CODE of the band you want to vote for. You will find this on the page hosting the band's video, in the links above. Then send your text to 81800.
Texts cost 25p – cheaper than a first class stamp - plus your standard network charge. This will be charged to your mobile phone bill. Get the bill payer's permission. Do not text after deadline and please ensure you enter the correct competition name, if this is incorrect you may still be charged and your entry will not be entered into our draw.

Post your name, address and telephone numbers, with the name and VOTE CODE of the band you want to vote for. You will find this on the page hosting the band's video, in the links above. Post to Music Video Competition, The Star, Promotions Department, York Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire S1 1PU.

Prizes:
The Star Readers Winner band and film maker will be the focus of a special in paper and online feature – with the band invited to perform an exclusive session, to be hosted on our website. And with around three million hits a month, that's a huge showcase opportunity.
So bands are encouraged to get all their fans, family and friends to vote.

Everyone who votes, by text or post, will be entered into a draw to win a pair of tickets to a forthcoming show at Sheffield Arena. See voting instructions below.
