In the face of last year's devastating floods some people fell back on their northern sense of humour to cope and still managed to crack a joke as their belongings were swept away.
Seeing your beloved home destroyed in front of your eyes would prompt a strong reaction in anyone - but how many could skip through the filthy water singing Singin' In The Rain?
And what would be funny about seeing a friend's car picked up and swept away?
