WATCH out for this new film promoting the 31st Westfield Health British Transplant Games in Sheffield which could be popping into an email inbox near you soon.
South Yorkshire-based agency Public has teamed up with production company Onward to create the viral email film hoping to raise the profile and get more more people signing up on the organ donor register.
David White, creative director at Public, said: "Organ donation is an emotive subject but one that links us all – each and every human being has the ability to give the gift of life and signing up to the NHS Organ Donor Register enables people to do just that.
"We came up with the idea of producing a viral email film which focuses on a relay race with runners passing on the gift of life at each stage of the race. Some of the runners are also transplantees making the film even more poignant."
The bulk of the film was recorded at Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield where a number of events for the British Transplant Games 2008 will be held this August.
