MINERAL water chilled to a precise temperature, a certain brand of coffee stirred the right way, even toilet paper in the correct shade - when celebrities go on tour, the list of backstage demands can be taxing.
But it's not put off Sheffield girl Ella Baldwin, who is hopes to prove she can cut the mustard with indie band The Wombats, after landing a place on a new TV show hunting for the best roadies to tour with them through Europe.

'Je Suis Un Rockstar', which starts on August 9, will see 12 candidates pitted against each other to land a job as a 'fixer' for the band - ensuring everything runs smoothly on the road.

If successful, Ella, aged 19, will accompany them through Germany, Spain and France, sorting out travel arrangements and hotel bookings, liaising with local media, and making sure any 'rider' demands - the special backstage requests - are met.

It should all be in a day's work for the PA at a Sheffield finance firm, who lives in the city centre and decided to have a go after spotting an advert for the show online.

She will have to prove herself in a variety of tasks set by The Wombats to test her ambition, initiative and local lingo in each episode.

Steven Wright, producer of the T4 show, said: "Our fixers get to experience everything about rock 'n' roll, from the glamorous to the grotty.

"But if they keep smiling and keep their heads down they get the perfect entrée into the music industry."
