WE have golf hotels, why not hotels for birders? The Bird Watching and Wildlife Club has just taken over and extensively refurbished the 55 bedroom Grant Arms Hotel in Grantown-on-Spey in the Cairngorms National Park. Former visitors include Queen Victoria and the present Queen.
As anyone who watched this years "Springwatch" on BBC TV will know Speyside is one of the best birding and wildlife areas in the UK. With high quality ensuite rooms including a four poster honeymoon suite and wonderful food the Grant Arms is a great
place to stay. But it's more than that. From the moment you walk into the Hotel you start to begin to notice the difference.

Price: From £50 b/b and £220 for a four night half board break, For more information visit http://www.bwwc.co.uk
