Children are among passengers stranded in Asia after a low-cost airline that operated from Gatwick Airport to Hong Kong went into liquidation.
Oasis Hong Kong Airlines began flights to Gatwick in October 2006, with fares starting as low as £75.

Auditor KPMG was appointed provisional liquidator of Oasis today.
The company said it was working to assess Oasis's "financial and operating situations".

KPMG said all of Oasis's scheduled flights were now cancelled and it was helping customers make other travel arrangements as quickly as possible.

The liquidator added that it was liaising with other airlines and encouraged Oasis passengers to check the airline's website www.oasishongkong.com and to call 00852 3628 0628, 0844 482 2323 or 01293 596633.

Another Hong Kong-based carrier, Cathay Pacific, said today it would do all it could to help stranded Oasis passengers.
