MARK Robins told his Rotherham United players to "enjoy the moment" but insisted they'd be back down to earth today.
The Millers claimed their second Championship scalp in the Carling Cup, disposing of Mick McCarthy's Wolves in their first cup tie at the Don Valley Stadium.

They replicated their penalty shoot-out success of the previous round at Hillsborough by beating Wolves 4-3 after a goalless two hours and are in the third round for the first time since 2003.

As he did two weeks ago, 19-year-old Reuben Reid again struck the decisive penalty after Wolves had missed twice including a tremendous save by Andy Warrington.

"The lads kept their nerve again for the penalties despite Pablo (Mills) having his saved at the start," said Robins. "I was confident in them all and never thought Reuben would miss.

"I thought we thoroughly deserved to go through over the 120 minutes against a side that still had real quality despite Mick (McCarthy) making some changes.

"It's fantastic for everyone and the supporters have had another night for the memory bank. It was heart-in-mouth time again but our fans have had value for money from their players in these two games.

"As for the players, they were magnificent again and no one should underestimate what they have done against a very good side and knocking out two Championship clubs is a feat.

"I've told them to enjoy the moment when they come along like this but not to get carried away. In fact, we'll be back in today and back down to earth and starting to look ahead to an important and tough league game at Brentford."

Robins included new signing Andy Nicholas at left back. He signed for the Millers earlier in the day having been released by Swindon, for whom he made over 140 appearances, but not having got fixed up with a club.

What can you say? what a great result for a deserving outfit. It makes a mockery of Weds and their board, wrangling and infighting. GOO0D ON YOU MILLERS. we were flogged by wolves.

Also to penalise your club by docking all those points at the beginning of the season to my mind is pedantic bureaucratic B/S.. GO FOR IT AND EVERY SUCCESS FOR THE SEASONReport Unsuitable
