OWLS director Geoff Hulley and former director Keith Addy have agreed in principal to sell 10 per cent stakes in the club to Lancashire businessman Geoff Sheard, as long as he can provide "legal proof of funding" for the takeover.
A further meeting is to be held within a week where confirmation of the sale could happen, subject to legal scrutiny. Sheard's Swiss-based trust are believed to be offering 20p a share, or £4m for a 40 per cent slice of the club.

With Addy and Hulley now possibly on board, and Wednesdayite recommending sale of an additional 10%, I believe a combined forty percent stake would trigger a requirement to make a general share offer. Is this correct?
