DONCASTER Rovers have slight doubts about both Paul Green and Jason Price ahead of tonight's League One promotion play-off semi-final first-leg tie against Southend United at Roots Hall.
Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll said: "Paul tweaked an ankle on Tuesday and Jason has been carrying a bit of a hamstring problem for some weeks so he's eased off training. Both of them travel and we are hoping that both will be fit."
Stuart Elliott is available again but skipper Adam Lockwood and Steve Roberts are again ruled out.
O'Driscoll said: "We were disappointed not to beat Cheltenham last weekend and secure automatic promotion but we've got another opportunity to win through to The Championship and if we can come through the play-offs it would be a great way of getting promoted.
"I think any side would want to go up through the play-offs if they could guarantee it because the final is a fantastic occasion for everybody, but you cannot guarantee anything in football and that is why we wanted go up on Saturday.
"It didn't matter who we played. I think all four teams are capable of beating each other and it will be down to the team which performs best on the day.
"Teams at this level aren't used to playing two-legged matches and if you look at the play-off results throughout the years you will find that people have found it difficult to win their home games. But whether it is the home or away leg I think that both games are going to be tight.
"The aim is to play well. If we do that then we give ourselves the opportunity to get the right result.
"If we don't, and it is something that you've got to be prepared for, we've got to make sure that we get a result which gives us a chance in the home tie."
Rovers were unlucky to lose 3-2 at Roots Hall in September and but won the return 3-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium on the last game of 2007.
But O'Driscoll, who had the Shrimpers watched in their 1-1 draw with lowly Port Vale on Saturday, isn't reading too much into those results.
He said: "They have got a different team to when we last played them. The front two have changed and the midfield is more settled. They have lost just once in 15 games so I suppose that they are the form team going into the play-offs which is always a bonus."
