WIMBLEDON: Sorry Andy rues sluggish start

Have your say

Andy Murray crashed out of Wimbledon as his title defence was halted by Grigor Dimitrov and admitted: “It wasn’t a great day.”

Murray folded in straight sets against the Bulgarian, losing 6-1 7-6 (7/4) 6-2 on Centre Court in the quarter-finals.

He said: “I need to go away and make a lot of improvements in my game. I’ve lost a couple of matches in the last few slams where I’ve lost in straight sets and played poorly.”
