Former Tykes manager Mark Robins is now 4/6 to take over the reins at Bramhall Lane with victorchandler.com

John Pemberton is 10/3 and Danny Wilson 4/1.

Craig Short and Peter Reid were the movers earlier in the week but if money talks Robins will be the next manager of the Blades.

Wilson is more fancied (4/5 favourite) to return to Barnsley, who he once took to the Premier League, despite insisting he has had “no contact” with the club.

In another volatile week in the markets Rochdale manager Keith Hill has been popular and is now 10/1 to take over at Oakwell although Roberto Di Matteo (7s) and John Hughes (8s) have also attracted support.

Peter Jackson is 11/8 to be next through the door at Valley Parade with John Still 9/4 and money for Colin Cooper (7/2) who has been best backed to take over as Bantams boss.

John Coleman’s Accrington Stanley are 2-0 down after the first leg of the League 2 Play-off with Stevenage and although he is on the drift at 7/1 if Stanley don’t go up he might think he has got the Lancashire club as far as he can take them.

Next week England begin their Test Series with Sri Lanka and the hosts are 2/5 with the Tourists 6/1 and a drawn series at 15/4. England are a fine Test side (just ask the Aussies) but they are very short especially with doubts about the current form of their pace attack.
