Sheffield’s Jonny Marray will partner fellow British doubles player Dominic Inglot at next week’s Masters Series tournament in Rome.

Marray was forced to miss this week’s Madrid Open because regular partner Colin Fleming is injured.

Inglot, aged 27, is a doubles specialist and has enjoyed a decent season with a variety of partners so far this year.

Nicknamed ‘Dom the bomb’, Inglot possesses a strong serve and reached the last 16 of the Sony Open in Miami with Treat Huey in March.

Fleming looks set to return in time for the Power Horse Cup in Dusseldorf, Germany, which starts on May 19.

The Dusseldorf tournament will act as Marray and Fleming’s final warm-up before the French Open at Roland Garros at the end of the month.
