ROTHERHAM-based Paul Drinkhall is in the last-chance saloon in his bid to qualify for the London Olympics.
World number 97 Drinkhall will compete in the last qualification tournament in Doha, Qatar, starting on May 10, having bowed out early in the European Olympic qualification tournament in Luxembourg last month.
The four-times national champion is one of the top seeds for the event and will be joined in Doha by promising Chesterfield teenager Liam Pitchford and 29-year-old Andrew Baggaley in the men’s competition.
England number one Pitchford has climbed to 130 in the May world rankings.
In the women’s competition, England No 1 Joanna Parker and Na Liu from Northern Ireland are all in action.
