Ben Swift returns to competitive action today for the first time since finishing the Tour de France last month.
The 23-year-old from Dinnington is part of a strong Team Sky squad taking part in the seven-day Eneco Tour - also known as Tour of the Benelux - around the roads of the Netherlands and Belgium.

Today is a 5.7km prologue in the Dutch town of Amersfoort before tomorrow’s 192.1 km from Oosterhout to Sint. Willibrord.
Fellow Rotherham cyclist Russell Downing, who also rides for Team Sky, was part of the squad which saw Australian Simon Gerrans win the Tour of Denmark yesterday. Downing finished 72nd in the race. Three Sky riders were in the top six positions overall. The Olympic test event in London on August 14 is the next for Downing. He will also take part in September’s Tour of Britain.
