SUNDAY MIRROR: Tottenham are prepared to smash transfer records to land Andy Carroll. Also: Joey Barton assessed the Premier League and declared: "I don't think anyone's playing better than me in the country."
THE MAIL ON SUNDAY: The Indian billionaires who own Blackburn Rovers have guaranteed rookie manager Steve Kean that he will not be sacked for the two-and-a-half years of his contract with the Premier League club. Also: Lewis Moody last night promised coach Martin Johnson he would be fit for the start of England's Six Nations campaign after limping out of Bath's Heineken Cup victory.
DAILY STAR SUNDAY: Moneybags Man City are weighing up a 15million bid in this month's transfer window for Sunderland's new England midfielder Jordan Henderson, 20. Also: Man City climbed to the top of the Premier League yesterday and then were immediately told by boss Roberto Mancini: Must do better.

Also: Avram Grant's reign as West Ham manager was close to ending last night as the club's owners prepared to replace him.
THE SUNDAY TELEGRAPH: Fabio Capello has been left in the dark over the appointment of a new English coach to the national team set-up. Also: Avram Grant remained defiant last night as he clung on to his job as West Ham manager, even after a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal that is likely to trigger his replacement by Martin O'Neill within the next 48 hours.
THE OBSERVER: Robbie Keane, the Tottenham striker, could play a role in West Ham's attempt to stay in the Premier League as Avram Grant's position as manager continues to be precarious.
THE INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY: Tottenham Hotspur may not be able to sustain their growing status if they are refused permission to turn the Olympic Stadium in Stratford into their new 60,000-capacity home after the 2012 Games. Also: Avram Grant's position was still shrouded in confusion last night after the embattled West Ham manager gave a quixotic response to rumours of his impending dismissal.
