Matthew makes it look so easy

SHEFFIELD’S world number one Nick Matthew made light work of Egypt’s Ali Anwar Reda last night in Manchester to book his place in the quarter finals of the British Grand Prix.

Matthew cruised through 3-0 (11/5, 11/4, 11/4) in just 38 minutes at the National Squash Centre.

Matthew told The Star: “I felt the sharpest I have all season on a court and a venue I’m very comfortable in but there will be much tougher tests to come.

“Peter Barker, who I play in the next round, looks in great form and we’ve had some tough matches in the past, so I’ll be a ready for a really hard match.”
