Tigers wary of Somerset threat
TIGERS boss Eric Boocock says his side cannot afford to drop any points in tonight's vital Premier League clash with Somerset at Owlerton.
Boocock's side are in contention for a play-off place after securing five away points in the Bank Holiday period.
Stoke's Czech Republic rider Lubos Tomicek has been booked as a guest replacement for the injured Paul Cooper and the rest of the Sheffield side is unchanged.
Boocock said: "We've given ourselves a chance of the top four with the five points we picked up away and full credit to my lads.
"They've shown a great determination and I was delighted by the win at Scunthorpe in particular. It made up for the disappointment of missing out late on at Newport when we could have won the meeting but at least we took a point. This will be a good meeting against Somerset because they have riders who like our track and they're going to push us hard without a doubt.
"They need the points as much as we do because they want to qualify for the Young Shield. Nothing less than all three-points on offer will do for us because if we drop points at home then we could miss out on our target of the top four."
German star Christian Hefenbrock will lead the Somerset charge.
SHEFFIELD: Josh Auty, Hugh Skidmore, Josef Franc, Richard Hall, Ricky Ashworth, Lubos Tomicek, Simon Lambert.
SOMERSET: Christian Hefenbrock, Cory Gathercole, Shane Parker, Sam Masters, Ritchie Hawkins, James Holder, Kyle Howarth.
