Tigers ponder Elite test
TIGERS are looking to open their 2010 campaign on March 18 with a Challenge Match.
Club bosses want to give the team a chance to race together before heading into Premier Trophy action.
And co-promoter David Hoggart isn't ruling out the possibility of facing an Elite League side.
The meeting will see the home debut for winter signings Josef Franc and Arlo Bugeja who were unveiled to supporters just before Christmas.
Last season saw a brilliant opening for fans with the Ozchem Classic featuring world stars Greg Hancock and Jason Crump - but it denied Sheffield the opportunity to ride as a team.
Said Hoggart: "I wouldn't rule out racing against Elite League opposition but it's not always simple trying to arrange meetings like that."
