Brave Barnsley racer Josh Bates will take his place in the Sheffield side for today’s vital visit to Scunthorpe.
Bates crashed out of Thursday’s home win over Redcar after taking a knock to the shoulder, but he has recovered well over the weekend.
It means Jack Lee’s men head to the Eddie Wright Raceway with a full strength team knowing an away win will see them have one foot in the semi-finals.
Promoter Damien Bates said: “Josh is a tough lad and wants to ride at every opportunity, we are just pleased it was nothing serious.
“We were putting guest riders on standby and frantically calling around people on Thursday night but then he woke up on Friday feeling a lot better.
“We’ve had a good start to the season but it will be good to go away from home and test ourselves.
“If we can pick up some points on the road it will be make it an even better start, but we know Scunthorpe will be desperate to put one over us.”
Sheffield have already secured three points over the Scorpions from the Owlerton clash between the sides last month.
Former Tigers man Josh Auty is included in the home side and Ashley Birks will be looking for a big score in Sheffield colours as he returns to his old club.
