Brilliant Brady Kurtz will step into the Sheffield side for Thursday’s mouthwatering clash with Glasgow at Owlerton.
And French star David Bellego will make his return from injury as a replacement for Ty Proctor to give Tigers a full seven-man starting line-up - subject to Andre Compton recovering from illness.
Kurtz romped to a maximum for Somerset at Sheffield earlier this season and has admitted the track is one of his favourites.
Tigers promoter Damien Bates said: “Brady was brilliant that night. I’d like to say he was a pleasure to watch but that’s never really the case when you’re getting beat as a team!
“He was delighted to accept our invitation to guest around Owlerton because by his own admission he believes it’s his favourite track.
“I hope he can come in and do a great job for us like he did against us! As for David, he’s really excited about coming back into the team because it’s been a frustrating time for him.
We’re pleased to welcome him back.
“I’m still fuming about losing Ty Proctor and certain people know it, but to have David available to replace him is a real bonus for us.
“He’s a good, solid rider and I’m hopeful he can slot back into the side and pick up points. He is now a replacement for Proctor which means Jason Garrity remains for the rest of the season.”
Bates has labelled Thursday a “revenge mission” after losing in Scotland last month in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
