Peter Mole has labelled Sheffield the entertainers of the Premier League.
The club co-owner says the team was put together with winning in mind – but he also wanted to see them put on a good show.
And they head into Thursday’s clash at Owlerton with the thumbs-up from Owlerton bosses. “I hope the fans are enjoying this season,” said Mole.
“I am, although we need a bit of luck with the weather now and we’re looking forward to Thursday against Redcar who include our former favourite David Bellego.
“When we sat down to decide on our team plans for this season we had several permutations but it was vital for myself and Damien Bates to have two main issues – winning and entertainment.
“We’ve achieved both those so far this season and we will move forward from here and continue to press for home wins and as many points as we can away. Team spirit is good and now we can get back to racing after a break and start again.”
Mole is also looking forward to Thursday week, June 30, when Sheffield face his local club Cradley Heath.
“I have plenty of fans from Cradley, I live in the area and it will be good to see them up here at Sheffield for that one,” he said.
“Cradley have passionate fans and I’m sure they will bring a few with them. It should be a good night.”
