Sheffield boss Jack Lee is targeting two wins as the club take on Redcar over the next two nights.
Tigers host the Teeside outfit at Owlerton tonight (7.30) before travelling up north for the return fixture 24 hours later with vital League Cup points on the line.
Having started their season in perfect fashion with a convincing win over Scunthorpe last week, Lee is hoping for more of the same when they take on the Bears.
Whilst they are expected to come out on top on home soil, he is backing his side to surprise a few when they make the trip to South Tees Motorsport Park.
Said Lee: “The two meetings against Redcar are very winnable, so we are looking to come away with wins from both of them really.
“Obviously we showed last week we are going to be very strong around our home circuit. We have plenty of riders who go well around Owlerton and everyone looked fast against Scunthorpe.
“We are hoping to put in a similar performance on Thursday to get three more points on the board, but even going up to Redcar we feel we are more than capable of a good performance.
“If we can carry some momentum from the home meeting on the Thursday and make some good starts we are definitely in with a chance.
“There is a lot of talent and potential in this team and I think we are capable of winning plenty of away meetings as well as being strong at home, so hopefully we can go to Redcar and get a good result.”
Tigers have named the same seven riders for tonight but have switched Arthur Sissis and Josh Bates at reserve.
The Bears include former Sheffield favourite Hugh Skidmore, Czech Republic international star Matej Kus and Danish rocket Lasse Bjerre leads from the No.1 spot.
