SHEFFIELD Tigers are heading in to two of the most important weeks in the club’s history.
That’s the view of current owner Neil Machin as Owlerton’s hierarchy mull over a new permanent race-day next season.
The club will also start to formulate their one-to-seven for next year, with the decision on race-day’s being pivotal to their plans.
Machin said: “We are coming in to an absolutely huge fortnight in the history of Sheffield speedway.
“It’s a big step to change the night you race on when Thursdays have become a tradition. If we do decide to make a change but first we’ve got to hear back from our landlords. What they come back with could shape our season next year, because we have more options rider-wise if we move away from Thursdays.”
