TIGERS owner Neil Machin is urging his side to put the smile back on the fans faces in the remaining weeks of the season.
The Owlerton side face Plymouth in Thursday’s Premier League action when they will be looking to build on last week’s impressive win over Workington.
And they are racing for pride as two recent home defeats ruled them out of contention for a play-off place and they were dumped out of the Knockout Cup earlier this season.
Machin said: “It has been a testing year for one reason or another, with all the injuries and what not, but now we have the chance to finish well and build for next year. We still have some cracking meetings to come at Owlerton and we are still hoping to bring in one or two new faces so the season is far from over.”
Tigers are represented by Ricky Wells and Richard Hall in Friday’s Premier League Pairs competition at Somerset.
