TIGERS star Richard Hall should be fit for Thursday’s Premier Cup clash with Ipswich at Owlerton.
Hall crashed during a guest appearance for Scunthorpe on Sunday and hurt his wrist. He was sent to hospital as a precaution.
Tigers boss David Hoggart said: “Richard is a brave character.
“A couple of days rest should allow things to settle down and I fully expect him to be in the side on Thursday – and, of course, he has the Premier League Riders’ Championship at Owlerton on Sunday.”
Edinburgh number one Craig Cook has passed himself fit for Sunday’s showpiece meeting after recovering from a broken collarbone and he will be one of the favourites.
Workington’s Rene Bach, a former Finalist in the event, will also be in action at Owlerton with the duo replacing the unavailable Ben Barker and Lasse Bjerre, whilst James Grieves will now represent Glasgow as original participant Josh Grajczonek has a broken ankle.
Hoggart said: “The field is still wide open with Josh Auty, Jason Doyle, Ryan Fisher, Craig Cook and now Rene Bach all declaring their intention to win. “It will be a hard meeting for everyone and I can’t predict the champion.”
