TIGERS bosses have vowed to give their newcomers every chance to shine with the club.
The Owlerton side have brought in Australian Damien Koppe, Argentinian Facundo Albin and British youngster Jake Knight for their British debut.
And whilst that means inevitable uncertainty over half the team, co-promoters Neil Machin and David Hoggart are backing them to succeed.
Said Hoggart: “It’s obviously a big opportunity for all these boys and they’re desperate to succeed. And our new captain Simon Stead is happy to support them. We want all three newcomers to do well. They will need a few meetings to settle in, but hopefully we will see some improvement as the weeks go by.
“We’re not asking them to become world beaters overnight. We just want to see them make some progress as the meetings go by.
“We are not in the business of setting unrealistic targets for riders, we will help them develop their skills.”
