Old boys in Championship reunion at Owlerton

TIGERS old boys Ben Wilson and Kyle Legault return to Owlerton in tonight's Northern Riders' Championship and the club haven't ruled them out of future team plans.

Wilson is on loan to Stoke after spending the last two seasons with Redcar and Legault is piecing his career back together with Newport after a long line of serious injuries. Both started their career at Owlerton before moving on to develop their experience, but it hasn't worked out.

Tigers co-boss David Hoggart said: "The club remain on good terms with all our assets and we would never rule any of them out for a return.

"We understood the reasons why the boys wanted a change of scenery, but we will once again be building a team for next season and all our assets will be considered.

"Kyle and Ben will be looking for a big display in tonight's meeting to remind us that they still know the quickest way around here.

"Eric Boocock, our team manager, has worked hard on the line-up for this meeting and we're pleased with the standard which should provide some terrific entertainment."
