Sheffield Tigers co-boss Peter Mole is hoping to see the team make progress in a second cup competition this week.
The Owlerton side, who won their League Cup qualifying group to go through to the semi-finals, face Berwick in the first leg of their Knockout Cup tie at home on Thursday.
And they head to Shielfield Park for the return on Saturday with a keenly contested cup tie expected. Mole said: “We were particularly pleased to make it through from the League Cup and we want to do the same in the Knockout Cup.
“Things are ticking over nicely at the moment, we had a great crowd for the British Semi-Final last Thursday and the team are getting on great.
“We need to build up a handy lead from the home leg on Thursday so that’s going to need a big all-round team performance but I see no reason why we can’t do that.
“We have to keep pushing in all competitions and this is a real opportunity to keep things moving. There’s so much to go for this season and we are in the thick of it.”
Leigh Lanham is in action tomorrow when he rides in the British Semi-Final at Rye House.
