Sheffield boss Joe Screen has urged his side to keep on fighting as they look to end the season strongly.
The Tigers have endured a year to forget as they remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
They were again left lamenting a night of misfortune as they suffered a 54-36 defeat against high-flying Ipswich at Foxhall on Saturday.
Despite their frustrating form continuing, Screen believes his side deserved more for their efforts after another brave performance.
And he says they must not get downbeat as they look to end the season with a flourish.
Said Screen: “We got off to a great start and I thought we might get something, but they just had a few 5-1s which knocked us back and we tailed off towards the end.
“We always knew it was going to be difficult, and it proved to be another disappointing night in the end with another defeat.
“Nico Covatti struggled a bit with the setup as a few of the lads did, and it was just a difficult meeting.
“Taylor Poole was going great until he snapped a chain and seemed to tail off which was a shame.
“We had a few problems which cost us and in the end I don’t think the scoreline fully reflected the meeting and how well the lads rode at times.
“It’s been a really tough season, and even now our injuries are still affecting us.
“Andre (Compton) is obviously still out and Leigh Lanham is still struggling with his back.
“It was a frustrating meeting, but we’ve just got to put it behind us and move onto the next one.
“It’s been a year to forget, but I’ve just got to try and make sure the lads keep on battling over the last few weeks of the season.
“We want to try and end the season strongly and get off the bottom of the table. We still think we can do it, we just need to try and keep everyone’s heads up and make sure we perform.”
