Jason Garrity is loving life at Sheffield and admits he should have made the move three years ago.

The popular British youngster has won the hearts of Tigers fans with his all-action style and point s scoring.

And he said: “I’m loving life at Sheffield and I’m very pleased to be with them for the rest of the season.

“It’s a good club and a good track and I only wish I had made the move three years ago instead of riding for Rye House.”

Garrity makes only his second career visit to Newcastle tomorrow with Sheffield in a League Cup tie.

“We’ve already qualified for the semi-finals so it’s nice to go to Newcastle knowing the pressure is off,” he said.

“I’ve only ridden there once and I get double figures so I’m hoping I can do the same again.

“Hopefully the team can get a good result and we can start building some momentum.”

Sheffield have Josh Grajczonek in as a guest for the injured Simon Stead, rider replacement will cover for Ty Proctor who has been sent back to Australia over a visa issue and James Sarjeant replaces Josh Bates who is on World Under 21 duty in Slovakia.

Newcastle are without the injured Anton Rosen and will operate the rider replacement facility.
