SHEFFIELD team manager Eric Boocock has admitted last week’s meetings brought “mixed emotions”.
The Tigers recovered from a faltering start at Owlerton on Thursday to beat Workington 46-44 before losing by the same scoreline at bottom of the table Plymouth the next day. Both meetings were decided in the final heat and Boocock admitted: “It was an up and down week really, I was very disappointed with the home performance. We would have walked it had we had Ricky Ashworth.”
Sheffield host the second leg of the National League semi-final between the combined Prowlers and Saints outfit and Belle Vue at Owlerton tomorrow.
