Confident Tigers fancying a shot of Rye
TIGERS take their new-found confidence into tonight's Premier League clash at Rye House (7pm).
And boss Eric Boocock insists his side can do well at the tricky Hoddesdon track if they adopt the right attitude.
The Owlerton men have enjoyed a string of good displays in the last fortnight but they know Rye House will present problems.
Said Boocock: "They have a great home track advantage, but we have to have the right attitude. We know how tough it will be, but we can do well because we have shown in the last couple of weeks what we can achieve.
"We've got some strong reserves, Chris Mills feels a lot happier after Thursday night and Josh Auty is flying.
"Joel Parsons is also more confident after the Edinburgh meeting so we have to keep it going tonight. We have to adopt a positive attitude and we will go there to give it everything."
Tigers will operate the rider replacement facility for broken wrist victim Ritchie Hawkins.
Rye House's British teenage sensation Joe Haines is out for the rest of the season with a neck injury.
SHEFFIELD: Ricky Ashworth, Paul Cooper, Ritchie Hawkins R/R, Joel Parsons, Richard Hall, Chris Mills, Josh Auty.
