ANDY Leaning,Sheffield United's goalkeeping coach, is understood to have parted company with Bramall Lane.
Sources say Leaning left during a behind the scenes reshuffle which is also expected to see numerous members of the squad which finished eighth last season kiss goodbye to South Yorkshire. United had been scheduled to release their list of released and retained players on Friday but, at the time of writing, an official announcement had not been forthcoming.
James Harper has already made it clear he does not expect to be offered a new deal and the former Reading midfielder will be linked with Bristol City where Steve Coppell, his old manager, recently took charge.
Uncertainty also surrounds the future of loanee Nyron Nosworthy as Blackwell attempts to revamp his squad before the next term.
