City of Sheffield duo Millie Hafferty and Millie Fowler son wilver medals with a total of 262.80 points in the women’s 3m synchro at the British Gas Diving Championships at Ponds Forge Sheffield on Saturday.
They scored 262.80 points compared by the 303.75 achieved by gold medallists Rebecca Gallantree and Hannah Starling.
Alicia Blagg and Matthew Dixon both claimed gold medals on yesterday’s final day.
Blagg won the 3m Springboard competition one day after withdrawing from the 3m synchro due to a wrist injury.
The City of Leeds diver qualified for the final in fourth but led after her first dive in the final and took victory with a score of 334.80.
Dixon cited the inspiration of Tom Daley after winning his first senior national title. The Plymouth 14-year-old, who won with a score of 398.25, said: “I’m really happy obviously to be national champion - I can’t really believe it. “Tom [Daley] is a big inspiration for me.”
