SHEFFIELD Wednesday boss Dave Jones is celebrating his first month in charge after being named the npower League One Manager of the Month for March.

He led the Owls to an unbeaten month with five wins and two draws from seven fixtures.

“His side conceded only four goals and are now just two points off an automatic promotion place in npower League 1.”

“To make such an immediate impact at such a crucial stage of the season is a testament to the job he’s done at Hillsborough so far.

“On behalf of npower, I’d like to congratulate Dave and the team, and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
