JEREMY Helan has received a one-match ban from the FA after the controversy of last Saturday’s game at Huddersfield.
He was shown two yellow cards but one was wrongly recorded by the referee as being for his Owls team-mate Michail Antonio, so Helan was not sent off.
Wednesday appealed against the Antonio caution on the grounds of mistaken identity.
An FA disciplinary commission today upheld the appeal and transferred the card to Helan.
The one-match ban is what he would have received if he had been sent off for two bookings during the match.
